This is the best bread I’ve had since moving to Virginia. (It reminds me of a bread called “Corn & Molasses” that Pepperidge Farm made when I was a kid. Our family would devour a loaf in a few days.) The flavor and texture are excellent. It can be sliced very thin or thick without tearing or crumbling. This bread makes particularly good sandwiches and is superb for toast. I love that I can get it fresh from the baker at our Farmers Market, and it freezes well so I can save half a loaf for another week. It also stays fresh in the fridge without losing texture or taste
