Our Farmers Market is housed under a 30-foot by 70-foot Pavilion that prevents weather from diminishing the experience for visitors, farmers, and artisans alike. The roof limits the impact of rain as well as extreme heat. A cement floor keeps mud and uneven terrain from creating any manner of disruption. And, fully equipped with electricity, the Pavilion allows farmers, vendors, and musicians to bring additional features and ambiance to the Farmers Market each week. There will be community groups involved: Service clubs, scouts, 4H, and others.
Special Events
The Pavilion also makes Greene Commons an attractive location to host special events such as weddings, parties, receptions, church services, and beer and wine tastings. Equipped with ample parking and electricity, the Pavilion has the potential to host gatherings of up to 200 people.
All special events are subject to approval by the Greene Commons Board of Directors and are subject to established rules for the facility.
